Almaty local authorities allow to conduct rally in support of Uyghurs over riots in China

CA-NEWS (KZ) - Almaty local authorities allowed Uyghur Cultural Center to stage a rally in support of Uyghurs over riots in China.
The rally will be held on Sunday from 10.30 to 12.00 am.
No special security measures are planned. Police officers will be there to maintain public order as normally during such public events, Almaty local authorities said.
The funeral service took place on July 10 outside Almaty over Uyghurs, who died in the riots in China. Uyghurs of Kazakhstan announced 40-day-mourning in connection with tragic events in Urumqi. Weddings and other celebrations are cancelled.
